Timesheets, hours and day rate

Approved hours × (directory day rate ÷ 8) post labour to the budget. Both pieces are required.
Hours on a timesheet are not spend until they have a rate and a category. Otherwise remaining pretends the labour was free.
Set the directory day rate
On the worker in the project directory, set a day rate for an 8-hour day. That is the figure labour uses — not a hidden hourly field on each row.
Log and approve
- The trade logs hours (decimal hours — 7.5, not 750).
- You pick the budget category (usually labour or the trade's line).
- Approve. ConstructionPro posts hours × (day rate ÷ 8) to Costs and remaining moves.
Without a category or a day rate, approval will not post. Fix the directory, then approve again.
Void or un-approve removes the labour cost so the ledger does not double-count.
